The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now download the answer key and their response sheets from the official website, ctet.nic.in.
The CTET February 2026 exam was conducted on February 7 and 8 across multiple centres in India for candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary and upper primary schools.
CTET 2026 Answer Key and OMR Sheet Available
Along with the provisional answer key, CBSE has also uploaded scanned copies of candidates’ OMR sheets. By reviewing these documents, candidates can compare their marked answers with the official key and estimate their expected scores in the exam.
CTET is held in two papers. Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for those aiming to teach Classes 6 to 8.
Objection Window Open for Candidates
The answer key released by CBSE is provisional, meaning candidates have the opportunity to challenge any answer they believe is incorrect.
To raise objections, candidates must submit their challenge online through the official CTET portal and provide valid supporting documents. A prescribed fee must also be paid for each question challenged.
The board will examine all objections submitted by candidates. After reviewing the challenges, CBSE will release the final answer key, which will be used to prepare the CTET February 2026 results.
