A 25-year-old actor and software engineer, Sachin Chandwade, passed away on Saturday while undergoing treatment after an alleged suicide attempt earlier this week in his hometown of Underkhede village, Parola taluka, Jalgaon district.

According to Inspector Ashok Pawar from the Parola police station, Chandwade was found hanging on the upper floor of his house on Thursday morning. His family discovered him in time and immediately rushed him to a nearby private hospital. He was later shifted to a hospital in Dhule, where he succumbed to his injuries early Saturday.

The police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances that led to the tragic incident. The motive behind his decision remains unclear.

Sachin Chandwade was known for his role in the popular Netflix crime drama Jamtara: Season 2 and had recently shared the poster of his upcoming Marathi film Asurvan on social media.

A passionate performer since childhood, Chandwade balanced his career as a software engineer in Pune while actively pursuing his love for acting. Friends and colleagues from both the tech and entertainment industries have expressed their shock and grief over his untimely passing.
