It was part of a 2024 album featuring music by Baidyanath Dash, Antara Chakraborty, and Sagar himself. Today, the post is flooded with emotional comments. He was moved to the medical ICU where doctors worked relentlessly, but his health continued to deteriorate. On November 17 at 9:08 pm, he passed away due to multi-organ failure. The official statement from the hospital listed several conditions, including liver failure, respiratory issues, and kidney injury.
Born in Titlagarh, Odisha, Sagar rose to fame with his debut track in Ishq Tu Hi Tu. Known for his emotionally charged voice, he recorded hundreds of songs like Niswasa, Chehera, and Bekhudee, and even launched Hindi songs such as Mera Yeh Jahan. His music continues to trend as fans revisit their favorites and share them in remembrance.
Just days before his passing, former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik publicly wished him a speedy recovery. As messages of grief pour in from across the world, the one message fans keep repeating is simple: “Thank you for the music, Humane. You will always live on.”
