Bollywood mourns the loss of Zarine Khan, wife of veteran actor Sanjay Khan, who passed away at the age of 81 on November 7 after battling age-related health issues. The industry came together to bid an emotional farewell to the beloved matriarch of the Khan family.

A Tearful Farewell at Juhu Crematorium

Zarine Khan’s final rites were performed at the Juhu Crematorium in Mumbai, where her son Zayed Khan was seen struggling to hold back tears while performing the last rituals. A video captured the heart-wrenching moment, showing Zayed’s grief as he said goodbye to his mother. Family members, including Sussanne Khan and her sisters, stood by, offering emotional support. Sussanne was seen gently looking at her mother one last time, while Sanjay Khan, visibly shattered, folded his hands in silence as cameras captured the solemn goodbye.

The Khan residence saw a steady stream of visitors from the film fraternity, as friends and colleagues came to offer their condolences. Among those present were Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Jaya Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Shabana Azmi, and Bobby Deol, who appeared deeply emotional. Hrithik, Sussanne Khan’s former husband, attended both the prayer meet and the cremation ceremony, accompanied by his partner Saba Azad, standing by Sussanne and the family during the difficult time.

Her Health and Final Moments

According to reports, Zarine had been suffering from age-related ailments for some time. As per News18, she passed away peacefully at her Mumbai home on Friday morning. She is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan and their four children — Zayed Khan, Sussanne Khan, Farah Ali Khan, and Simone Arora.

Recently, her daughter Sussanne Khan shared a touching birthday tribute on social media with vintage photographs, calling her mother her “biggest inspiration” and expressing gratitude for her love and strength.
