According to GEM Hospital, Chennai, the actor was admitted on September 16, 2025, in critical condition following a massive gastrointestinal bleed and multi-organ dysfunction caused by a complex abdominal condition. Despite intensive care, his health deteriorated, and he breathed his last on September 18 at 9:05 pm.
